Aluminum sulfate is mainly used in sewage treatment, drinking water purification, paper sizing, coagulation and sedimentation of industrial wastewater and other fields.

In application, first dissolve solid aluminum sulfate in water at a ratio of 5%~10% with thorough stirring until completely transparent and particle-free to prepare an aqueous solution. The dosage should be adjusted according to water turbidity and pollutant concentration. The conventional dosage for drinking water purification is 5~15 grams per ton of water, and 15~50 grams per ton for industrial wastewater.
Add it evenly to the water in separate points, stir rapidly for 1~2 minutes for full mixing, then stir slowly for flocculation for 3~5 minutes, and let it stand for sedimentation for 10~30 minutes to complete the flocculation and separation of suspended solids, colloids and impurities. For optimal effect, the water pH value should be controlled between 6.0~7.8 during use.
Avoid mixing and dosing with strong alkaline materials. Operators shall wear protective gloves and masks to prevent skin and respiratory irritation from dust and solution.
