SCID is a source of free available chlorine. It is a sodium salt of chlorinated hydroxytriazine. It is present in the form of hypochlorous acid and used as a water disinfecting compound. SDIC's main application is treating swimming pool water. It is used to sanitize and disinfect water, and to make it fit for swimmers to use. It also finds its application in the food industry. - Strong oxidizing property. SDlC chemical has strong oxidizing property and can effectively kill variouspathogenic microorganisms, such as viruses, bacterial spores, fungi, etc.High efficiency sterilization. Pure sodium dichloroisocyanurate has an effective chlorine content of up to64.5%, and the efiective chlorine content of high-guality products is also greater than 60%. At a very lowconcentration (such as 20ppm), it can achieve a sterilization rate of 99%.
- Low toxicity. The sodium dichloroisocvanurate 56%/609 has very low toxicity, and its median lethal dose(LD50) is as high as 1.67g/kg, which makes it widely used in the disinfection process of food and drinkingwater.
