Uses of Trichloroisocyanuric acid(TCCA)
TCCA has a wide range of uses that cover several domestic and commercial applications. These include the following:
TCCA is especially effective for water treatment purposes. It is popularly used in swimming pools as a disinfectant and even for drinking water treatment. This is possible because it is very safe when it comes in contact with the body and also when consumed with drinking water.

It also helps with algae removal from industrial water supplies and treatment of industrial or city sewage. Other uses included disinfection of petroleum well drilling slurry and sewage as well as production of seawater cells.
