Water Treatment Filter Media Green Manganese Sand Birm Sand
Manganese sand filter material is made of high-quality manganese sand ore, with dense grains, high mechanical strength, strong chemical activity, not easy to break, and insoluble in water. It is processed into sand by washing, grinding, impurity removal, crushing, drying, magnetic separation, screening, dust removal and other processes.
Then the processed manganese sand is blended according to a certain gradation. It has the most ideal gradation ratio of water treatment filter material, so that it has the largest specific surface area, the strongest interception capacity, the largest oxidation catalysis effect and the smallest backwash loss rate per unit volume.Manganese sand filter material is dark brown in appearance, nearly round, the main component is manganese dioxide, and the content is between 35% and 45%.

The common specification of manganese sand filter material are 0.4mm-0.6mm,0.6-1.2mm,1-2mm,2-4mm,4-8mm,8-16mm,16-32mm.Special specification can be processed separately accoring to user needs.
Manganese Sand can be used in groundwater water treatment to remove iron and manganese ions in water; it can also be used in swimming pool water recycling, industrial water and household water.
