Application
Coagulant aluminum sulfate is one of the most widely used, mainly used for purification of drinking water and industrial water. The mechanism is: aluminum sulfate dissolved in water, hydrolyzed into basic salt and aluminum hydroxide has the ability to capture water impurity particles.
Method of use
Because the hydrolysis product of aluminum hydroxide aluminum sulfate only in the pH value of water is 6- 7, it has minimal solubility, in order to make the suspended solids in water to get the best flocculation sedimentation, the pH value of water must be kept in the range of 5.7-5.8. When the dosage of aluminum sulfate flocculation treatment, generally 5- -50mg/L; if in order to removal, the amount can be added to the 90- -110mg/L. If it is used for decolorization, should be used with aluminum sulfate and chloride, the optimum pH value were 4.5- 5.5,applicable value 4-7.
