Bamboo Based Granular Activated Carbon
Bamboo charcoal activated carbon is the raw material bamboo after high temperature carbonization, continue to be placed in the activation furnace for high temperature catalysis or chemical catalysis (activation), and then pickling (or washing), drying made. The product has developed pore structure, large specific surface area, high wear resistance, fast adsorption speed, large adsorption capacity, easy desorption, and can be recycled repeatedly.
The diameter of micropores on the surface of activated carbon is mostly between 2-50nm. Even a small amount of activated carbon has a huge surface area. The surface area per gram of activated carbon is 500-1500m2. Almost all applications of activated carbon are based on this characteristic of activated carbon.
Bamboo charcoal activated carbon is dominated by micropores, and the pore diameter is divided into three categories: large pores (≥50nm), accounting for about 10-30% of the total pore volume, micropores (≤2nm) account for about 60-90% of the total pore volume, and medium pores (2nm≤φ≤50nm), also known as transition holes (2nm≤φ≤50nm), accounting for about 5-7% of the total pore volume, and the average pore diameter is about 1.5nm.

Bamboo charcoal activated carbon has a large specific surface area and strong adsorption capacity. Bamboo charcoal activated carbon have a widely used, after scientific processing, it can be used in fitness skin care, home textile supplies, automotive supplies, crafts, decoration materials, bamboo charcoal pottery, bamboo charcoal food and other aspects.
The particle shape is full and uniform, which greatly improves the wear resistance of the product. After entering the factory, there is no need for pre-grinding, and it can be used directly after washing with water.

There are many oxygen containing functional groups on the surface of activated carbon, Activated carbon can also be impregnated with chemical substance to produce impregnated activated carbon.
We produce bamboo granular activated carbon of different diameters, select high-quality bamboo as the base material for treatment, carbonization and activation process, resulting in numerous small holes on the surface of activated carbon. Even a small amount of activated carbon has a huge surface area.
