  • Place the filter balls in a mesh laundry bag or pillowcase to protect them from damage.

  • Set the washing machine to a gentle cycle with cold or warm water.

  • Do not use bleach or fabric softeners, as they can damage the filter balls.

  • Add a small amount of mild detergent specifically designed for delicate fabrics.

  • Run the washing machine for a short cycle, checking periodically to ensure that the filter balls are not being damaged.

  • After the cycle is complete, remove the filter balls from the bag or pillowcase and rinse them thoroughly with clean water to remove any detergent residue.

  • Allow the filter balls to air dry completely before returning them to the filter tank.

  • Keep in mind that machine washing may not be as effective as manual cleaning, and may even damage the filter balls. Therefore, it's generally recommended to clean filter balls manually for the best results.
